Our mission.
We started F|Lux because we could not find stylish, yet understated, outfits we could wear to pole dance classes & training sessions. We set out to change this. By the end, we had created a super comfortable pole dance clothing combo in our Shorts & Sports Bras.
Creating super comfortable Pole Dance clothing
From our background in the Automotive industry, we knew that many factors are crucial in the development of our first product, and we wanted it to be amazing. We went through multiple iterations, ideations & concepts to create that Goldilocks fit & feel. As a result, our clothing is made of a super soft brushed material that feels great and is soft, yet breathable, on the skin.
It was important to us to create a fabric that is different to what can be easily found on the market, or bought in bulk overseas & re-branded. That's why our products, from the Martini shorts, to the Helix and Lotus bras are made with the same brushed material as our leggings, creating a stylish synergy while simultaneously being your most comfortable pole dance clothing outfit.
We designed our two Vest tops to compliment & highlight the cut and design details of the bras, like the Lotus in Dark Rose shown below. Wow.
Why can't I just wear any gym outfit to a Pole Dance class?
You can! When you're just starting out, making new friends and trying out something new, your trusty athleisure clothing may be enough to get you going and diving into the new world of Pole Dance or Aerial classes.
But, as you start progressing, trying more challenging moves, you'll realise why most "normal" athleisure and gym focused clothing can't keep up. Grip.
Pole dancing is intrinsically linked with how well you can grip the pole, pure strength will only take you so far... but the right set of comfortable pole dance clothing can be a game changer. We've designed our clothes to enhance the grip your body can apply to the pole in key areas, whilst keeping material in others to create a comfy, stylish & supportive outfit that can bring out your confidence!
